This was my first mask titled "Miles Was in There".  I carved the mask for a family friend and during the carving I actually captured the face of Miles Davis.  Unfortunately, the moment was very fleeting and I was never able to find Miles again during my carving of this mask.  The wood is Ebony and I was honored by the family who now have the mask hanging in there home in one of those shadow boxes.
