This is the first time I got to make a cane for a Hokie.  Mr. Richard Swink Sr.'s kids found me and had me make this special birthday gift for their Dad.  My email was not functioning and when I should have had the cane ready for his Saturday birthday, I hadn't even started it.  I made them a promise and finished the cane in three days, shipped it air, and got to talk to the Birthday Boy personally as he was trying out my cane for the first time.
