After a couple of years of inquiries I finally made a Halloween cane. The rubber cane tip comes off so that I can install glow sticks for the added "spooky" lighting effect. It was a very "spoooky" hit during the week of Halloween 2008. I cranked this one out in three days as I broke the first effort while trying to make the lighting hole down the center. Some advice for you rookie cane makers out there: Never use a flat bit to make an extra long hole down the center of a cane, especially if the wood is cedar and you've weakened the cane by drilling tiny holes in the green goo which in turn adds more spooky light to your cauldron.
