The "Knife" Presentation

Our kid's teacher Mrs. Nelson was nice enough to let me interrupt a very bust last week of school so that I could present Connor with our little thank you to him as he heads off to Alaska.  The front of the knife had Connor's name and the James Monroe Elementary Eagle on it.  On the bottom of the knife was the model, "The Shield of Freedom", and the Coast emblem with the distinctive serial number, "1790-CPV".  The "1790" is the year the Coast Guard was established and the "CPV" are of course Connor's initials.
